This project included a remodel and addition of a 38,224 sq ft. existing occupied building facility. Full renovation to the HVAC, Welding & Auto Shop areas, installation of new fire sprinklers, replacement of flooring and wall finishes in the main corridor through the building. The shop remodels all consisted of new classroom space at each shop, instructor offices, relocation of CMU partition walls, new footings for said walls, new fire protection, all new HVAC, plumbing and electrical. The welding shop required all new welding booths with associated power and welding gases at each booth. The user/contractor coordination was a large part of the project and was required in order to open the spaces for new classes in the upcoming semester.
