Scope: Work included the repair of the historic covered walkways located at the New Mexico VA Healthcare System Hospital Campus between buildings 1, 2, 3, 4, 39, 41, 45 and 47. Work consisted of replacing existing wood columns, wood vigas, wood tongue and groove decking, roofing and the installation of metal structural bents. Work also included repairing and preserving the surface of the primary wooden decorative headers on the front elevations of Building 1 as well as restoring the main entry court finishes.
